Lanusei. Workshop with the children of the primary school for Valerio Pisano
Mister Bic and the thousand masks of fantasy
Mister Bic dresses up the legendary pen in a mask, with the ideas, intuitions and imagination of children. Valerio Pisano met the children of the third grade of the primary school, for an afternoon to discover new masks and creativity. The artist made an incursion into the school thanks to the project Arts and Crafts that leads children to know and enhance the territory, its artisans, its artists.
Mister Bic brought with him 43 notes, as many as the children, with the name of as many invented masks written on them, Trisinello, Cuor di cipolla, Occhio di Manzo, Agguattolo among the many – and the children created theirs giving free rein to their creativity. Pisano did not hide his satisfaction in telling his story to such an audience and playing with his imagination, without rules: “It was like taking a leap into the past. I am very happy with how it went because the children gave me a wonderful experience and had a blast. Great questions, great liveliness. We tried to make their imagination explode, without rules. A wonderful satisfaction for the curiosity and wonder with which I was welcomed. It was an explosive afternoon”.
Pisano drew and played with the little artists: “It was a success – said the teachers Serena Asoni and Susi Usai – they worked so hard to make the Bic mask that there was an abnormal silence”.
